AI helps run Quyps: it answers questions, translates posts and helps keep scams and harmful pictures out. Here is exactly where it’s used, what it never does, and how to see less of it.
Our promise
- No fake people.Every member account is a real person or a real business. AI never pretends to be a neighbor, and never comments or likes posts to make things look busy.
- AI never posts as you.When AI writes a draft for you, nothing goes up until you read it and press Post yourself.
- Your posts, photos and messages are not for sale.We don’t sell them, we don’t use them to train AI, and we don’t use your messages to pick ads.
- A person decides, not a machine.Safety checks can blur or hold something for a closer look. They never delete your account or your posts on their own.
- No face recognition.We don’t scan faces to find out who is in a photo.
- You can see less of it.Use the choices on this page to hide AI-made stories and videos from your feed.

What we check to keep people safe
Pictures and videos in posts, comments, stories and messages are checked by an automatic safety tool for nudity, violence and abuse. Anything flagged is blurred or held for a person to look at.
Messages are checked on Quyps’ own server for known scam wording, like asking for a code or gift cards. Only you see the warning; the other person isn’t told and nothing is blocked. No person reads your messages unless someone reports the chat.
Before you post a comment, an automatic check may ask “Are you sure?” if it looks hurtful. You can still post it. The text isn’t saved by the check.
Neighbor Help posts get a quick check before they show, so scams and unsafe requests stay off the board.
These safety checks stay on for everyone, because they protect other people too.
