Welcome to Quyps. These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Quyps, a Florida business ("Quyps," "we," "us"). They cover quyps.com, our apps, live streams and everything else we offer (the "Service"). By creating an account, ticking "I agree," or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Refund Policy and the Community Rules in Section 10. If you don't agree, please don't use Quyps.
You own what you post. Photos, videos, text, lives and other material you share ("Your Content") stay yours.
You give us a license to run the Service. You grant Quyps a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, re-encode, resize, display and distribute Your Content, and to make versions of it such as thumbnails, smaller copies and captions, only to operate and improve the Service, and in line with your privacy settings. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies others already shared under your settings, copies in backups kept for a limited time, and copies we must keep by law.
Uploads are processed. We re-encode videos and convert images to keep the site fast. Quality, size and format may change.
You are responsible for Your Content. You confirm you have the right to post it, including the permission of people who appear in it, and that it follows these Terms and the law.
Link previews. When you post a link, our servers may visit that public page to show a title, picture and details such as a price. Previews can be out of date, so always check the original site.
4.1 Lives are recorded by default. When you go live, Quyps records the stream and posts it as a replay on your profile when it ends. The replay can show the live chat and gift names in time with the video. Before you go live you can switch recording off with the "Record Broadcast" switch. You can delete a replay at any time.
4.2 Being recorded. By hosting, co-hosting or commenting in a live, you understand and agree that:
4.3 Hosts are responsible for the people around them. Florida law requires the consent of everyone in a private conversation before it is recorded, and other states have similar rules. If you go live from a home, workplace or any private place, get the permission of every person who can be seen or heard before you go live. Never broadcast a private phone call or conversation without everyone's consent. Don't go live where recording is banned, such as schools, locker rooms, medical settings or restricted areas of military bases.
4.4 Military and safety. Don't stream or post controlled areas of military installations, ship or unit movements, or anything else that could put service members or their families at risk.
4.5 Comments on screen. A host may show a viewer's comment and username on screen. It will then appear in the replay and any clips. If you don't want your comment featured, don't post it in a live chat.
4.6 Highlight clips. Hosts may only clip their own lives, and must remove a clip if a co-host or featured viewer reasonably asks.
4.7 Porch lights (town picks). While watching a live you may choose your town from a list. We never use your device's GPS for this. A town's count is only shown when 3 or more viewers have picked it.
5.1 What they are. Coins are a limited license to use virtual items inside Quyps. 100 coins = $1 of Quyps wallet balance. Coins, wallet balances, gifts and store credit are not money, are not a bank account, have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn or cashed out, cannot be sent to other members, cannot be sold or transferred outside Quyps, and can only be used on Quyps. Purchased coins and wallet balances do not expire while your account is open, and we charge no fees on unused balances.
5.2 Sending gifts. You can send a virtual gift to a creator during a live. When you do, the creator receives 90% of the gift's coin value as Quyps credit and Quyps keeps 10% as its service fee. You may also receive part of the gift's value back as store credit, as shown when you send it.
5.3 60-second undo. If you send a gift by mistake, you can undo it within 60 seconds and the coins return to your wallet. After that, gifts are final (see the Refund Policy).
5.4 Creator earnings are credit, not cash. Gift earnings can be used on Quyps only. Quyps does not offer cash withdrawals. If we ever offer cash-outs, it will be through a licensed payment company, under separate terms, with identity and tax checks. Credit is not a promise of any future payout.
5.5 Gifts don't buy anything. A gift is a voluntary show of support. It does not buy a service, private content, a meeting or any outcome, and creators may not promise anything in return for gifts.
5.6 We can correct mistakes. If coins, credit or gifts appear in an account through an error, fraud, a chargeback or abuse, we may reverse them.
7.1 Pro membership. Pro plans give extra features. Each plan is paid for a set period shown before you buy (for example, one month), or once for a lifetime plan. Pro plans do not renew automatically. When your period ends, Pro ends unless you choose to buy again. Refunds are covered in the Refund Policy.
7.2 Business plans (Local Pro and Local Pro+). Business plans are billed monthly or yearly at the price shown on the Plans page when you subscribe, and are charged by our payment processor, Stripe. Founding-member prices, when offered, last as long as your subscription stays active.
8.1 Ads you buy. Members and businesses can buy ads on Quyps. Ads must be truthful, legal and follow our Community Rules, and must not be aimed at minors when the product is age-restricted. We may reject or remove any ad. View and click counts are estimates.
8.2 Boosts and the Ad Manager. A boost or ad shows one of your public posts near the top of other members' news feeds, labelled "Promoted", for the days or budget you choose. You may pick towns. Each person sees an ad only a few times a day. Before an ad runs, it is checked partly by automated tools (including AI) and partly by people. Ads about housing, jobs or credit, alcohol ads, and ads our tools cannot place get a human review, and housing, job and credit ads may only target whole towns, never age, gender or interests. We may reject, pause or remove any ad, also after it starts.
8.3 Ads we don't allow. Political or issue ads; firearms or ammunition; cannabis, THC or delta-8; tobacco or vapes; gambling; prescription weight-loss drugs; payday or title loans; adult content; fake reviews or misleading claims; and anything illegal in Florida, Georgia or under U.S. law. Prices in ads must include all required fees except taxes and government fees. Car dealers must follow Florida's rule that advertised prices include all dealer fees other than tax, tag and title.
8.4 Fixed-price boosts. You pay once for the days you pick, and nothing renews. Business Studio shows counts of what happened on Quyps (people who saw it, taps, messages). Results are not guaranteed.
8.5 Pay only for results. If you choose this, you agree that we may place a temporary hold on your card for the limit you pick (for example $25). The ad runs for up to 6 days and stops early if it reaches your limit. When it ends, we charge only for results at the price shown when you created the ad (currently $1.50 each), never more than your limit, and the rest of the hold is released. A result is one real Quyps member who taps Call, Directions or Message on your ad's post while it runs. Each person counts once per ad. Your own taps, people who are not signed in and accounts less than 7 days old do not count. Some banks show a released hold as pending for a few days.
8.6 Video ads. You may add a video made from your post's own photos: a photo video, or an "AI motion" video in which one photo is animated by an AI model. Before a video can run, you must watch it and confirm it shows your real item accurately. AI videos are labelled "Made with AI" and may carry an invisible watermark from the AI provider. You are responsible for any video you run.
8.7 Ketroc ADS. Some ads on Quyps are served by Ketroc ADS, an ad network owned by the same owner as Quyps. Other advertisers may appear too. An ad is not an endorsement by Quyps.
8.8 Say when you're paid. If you are paid, given a free product, earn a commission, or have a business or family connection to a brand you promote, say so clearly in the post itself (for example "#ad" or "Paid partnership"). This is required by the Federal Trade Commission.
8.9 No fake reviews or fake popularity. Don't post fake reviews or ratings, pay for reviews, or buy or sell followers, likes, views or other engagement.
8.10 Local Partners. Businesses on a paid plan can post offers inviting local members ("creators") to post about them. Creators must be 18 or older and have had their account for at least 7 days.
Quyps is a place for members to meet. We are not part of deals between members and don't inspect, guarantee or deliver items, jobs or events.
Business Studio. Business Studio shows counts of people who saw your posts, taps on your Call, Directions and Message buttons, messages and similar activity on Quyps. These counts may not match other tools.
Inventory import. If you connect a product feed, an online store or a website, you confirm that you own the business, or have the owner's permission, and the right to share those listings, photos and prices. You give Quyps a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to copy, store, display and promote them on Quyps while they are connected. You stay responsible for every listing, including price, condition and availability. Items that disappear from your source are marked sold and then removed. We may pause or disconnect any source.
Quick Listeds listings. Some Market items are listings posted on Quick Listeds (quicklisteds.com, owned by the same owner as Quyps) and shared on Quyps under Quick Listeds' licence from its sellers. To buy, contact the seller through the original listing.
After-hours auto-reply. If you turn it on, Quyps sends an automatic reply in your name to people who message you while your listed hours say you are closed, at most once per person every 12 hours. You are responsible for its wording and for keeping your hours accurate.
Reply-speed badge and shop sign. If your usual reply time to new messages is under an hour, your posts may show "Usually replies within an hour" (automatic replies don't count). The printable shop-window sign links to your page through a short Quyps link that counts scans.
AI tools. Quyps offers optional AI tools, including a writing helper, AI pictures, AI video for ads, an ad check and the Business Studio Assistant, which suggests next steps from your own statistics. AI can be wrong: check anything before you use or publish it. The Assistant never spends money or posts by itself, and its suggestions are not financial, legal or business advice. You are responsible for what you publish, whether or not AI helped. Don't use AI tools to impersonate real people, create fake reviews or testimonials, or make misleading pictures of real products. AI use may be limited by plan, by day or by credits. Business plans include a monthly number of AI video credits (currently 2 with Local Pro and 8 with Local Pro+) that do not carry over. Extra credits you buy don't expire. If an AI video fails, the credit is returned.
You may not post, stream, send or promote:
We may remove content, limit features, end a live, or suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Report content with the "Report" button or by emailing [email protected].
Quyps uses automatic tools to check pictures and videos, including those sent in messages, for nudity, violence and other content that breaks our rules. Flagged items may be blurred or held for a person to review. We never use face recognition.
We respect copyright and respond to notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512). To report infringement, email [email protected] with the subject "Copyright notice" and include:
Counter-notice. If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice with your signature, the removed material and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake, and your name, address, phone number and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address. We may restore the material after 10 to 14 business days unless the person who complained tells us they have gone to court.
Repeat infringers. We close the accounts of members who repeatedly infringe copyright.
Sending a false notice or counter-notice can make you liable for damages.
If an intimate image or video of you, or a computer-made or edited ("deepfake") sexual image of you, has been posted on Quyps without your consent, you can ask us to remove it. Use our form at quyps.com/remove-image (no account needed), or email [email protected] with the subject "Intimate image removal" and include:
A parent, guardian or authorized representative may ask on someone's behalf. We remove valid requests within 48 hours and make reasonable efforts to remove known identical copies, as required by the federal TAKE IT DOWN Act and Florida law. If a minor is involved, we also report it to NCMEC.
We respond to valid legal process, such as subpoenas, court orders and search warrants. We may share information without legal process when we believe in good faith it is needed to prevent death or serious physical harm, or when the law requires it (for example, reporting child exploitation to NCMEC). Law enforcement may email [email protected] with the subject "Law Enforcement Request". Emergency requests should say so clearly.
Please report security weaknesses to [email protected] with the subject "Security". Don't access other people's data, disrupt the Service, or publish the problem before we have had a reasonable chance to fix it. We appreciate good-faith reports.
Quyps uses and links to other companies' services (for example Cloudflare, map and font providers, and websites members link to). We are not responsible for their content or practices, and their own terms apply.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that lives will always record or replays will always be available. We are not responsible for what members post or do, online or offline, including deals, jobs and events between members. Under federal law (47 U.S.C. §230), we are generally not treated as the publisher of content provided by others.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Quyps and its owners, staff and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100. Some states don't allow certain limits, so these may not fully apply to you.
You agree to defend and repay Quyps for claims that come from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your breaking these Terms or the law, including claims by people you recorded or broadcast.
Before bringing a claim, please email [email protected] describing the problem and what you would like, and give us 30 days to try to fix it. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be decided by the state or federal courts located in Florida, except that either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court where you live.
We may update these Terms. If a change is important, we will tell you by email or on the Service at least 14 days before it takes effect, unless the law requires a change sooner. If you keep using Quyps after the effective date, you accept the new Terms. If you don't agree, you may close your account.
These Terms, together with the policies they mention, are the whole agreement between you and Quyps about the Service. If any part can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a right, we haven't given it up. You may not transfer these Terms; we may transfer them as part of a merger, sale or reorganization.
